What a busy week we have had. We started out the week by decorating Christmas stars with glass gems. We then got an iPad and took photos of our creations.
Mrs Cotton helped us to make some yummy gingerbread reindeer. We weighed, measured, mixed, rolled, cut out and decorated the gingerbread dough. We gave them currants for eyes and a cherry red nose! They were delicious!
We listened to the Christmas story and then wrote about what happened making sure we used our knowledge of letter sounds to help us.
We had great fun wrapping up Numicon and the giving it to a friend for them to guess what number we had wrapped up. We even took some into Puffin class to see if they could tell us what number we had wrapped up.
We all loved our Christmas party! We played musical statues, musical bumps, corners and pass the parcel. It was good to dance to our favourite music. We watched a video from one of Santa’s elves and then we each got a present!

We ended our week by making Christingles and taking part in our special Christingle service at Holy Trinity Church.

We also helped Mrs Cotton take down the Christmas tree in school. We did a good job of sweeping the floor!
