This week in Seal Class, we have been very fortunate to have Miss Stoddard teaching us in the mornings. She has been helping us continue learning Poetry based on Michael Rosen. She has also been assisting us in learning our handwriting, spelling rules, and consolidating our understanding of prefixes and suffixes.

We have also been very fortunate to have a poet come in to share his writing. Andy Tooze came in and conducted a whole-school assembly. He then engaged in some independent work with each of the classes, sharing his work. The children had a fantastic time and enjoyed learning about his works.

In science, we also shared our learning about the human body. We wrote about our understanding of the human skeletons, muscles, bones, and how we can keep our body nutritious. It has been a very busy week and we have had lots of songs to practice ready for the Advent Service.

This week's Star of The Week is Florence. She has been a good role model for the class, showing Embleton Expects and really persevered with her work this week. Well done.

Have a good weekend,
