This week in Seal class, we have been focusing on reinforcing our understanding of addition and subtraction by solving word problems. In English, we have continued exploring the wonderful poems written by Michael Rosen, particularly those that reflect his own experiences during childhood. We have also explored the topic of World War II. The children in our class created captivating images inspired by the poem and expressed their thoughts through mind maps. Additionally, in history, we concentrated on Skara Brae and analyzed primary sources to make observations. We discovered that this fascinating ancient settlement was built during the Neolithic period.

In computing, our photography unit continued, with a special focus on capturing images that represent the lines of Michael Rosen's poem. Lastly, I am delighted to announce that this week's star of the week is Marley, who showed exceptional dedication in mathematics. Well done, Marley!
