I am writing to update you on the exciting things happening in Seal class this week. As part of British Science Week, we have been exploring the fascinating world of science. Our focus this week has been on the famous palaeontologist, Mary Anning, and her contributions to the field of science.

We have also had the opportunity to participate in a Tech She Can session, where we learned about sustainable electricity. We then designed our own models based on what we had learned. This has been a great way to apply our knowledge and creativity.

As part of the Crest Science Awards, we had a science activity on Wednesday. The Crest Science Awards encourage young people to engage with science and develop their skills, which is exactly what we have been doing this week.

In addition to science, we have been continuing to explore time in our lessons. We have been looking at perimeter and measuring in maths, which is helping us to develop our understanding of measurement.

In English, we have been using images in the text to help us infer deeper information from the book before reading. This has helped us to predict what we think the text is going to be about and has improved our comprehension skills.

Overall, it has been an exciting and productive week in Seal class. We are looking forward to continuing our learning journey and exploring new topics in science.

This week's Star of The Week is Lucy for being a kind helpful member of our class and working really hard with her learning.
