This week has been packed with exciting and engaging activities, covering topics such as internet safety, ancient Greek gods and goddesses, and writing poems in English. Let's take a closer look at what we've learned.

Internet safety was an important topic covered this week, as children learned about the potential dangers of the internet and how to stay safe online. They were taught about the importance of not sharing personal information, how to recognize scams and fake news, and the importance of online privacy. The children also learned how to report any concerns or issues to a trusted adult or authority figure.

In addition to internet safety, children also explored the fascinating world of ancient Greek gods and goddesses. They learned about the different gods and their powers, as well as the stories and myths that surrounded them. Children were encouraged to think about the role of gods and goddesses in ancient Greek culture, and how this differs from modern-day beliefs.

Another aspect of the week was writing poems in English, focusing on how a child may feel being the new child in the class. This activity helped to develop empathy and understanding, as well as language and creative writing skills. Children were exposed to different types of poems that focused on the emotions of being new and used these to inspire their own writing.

This week's Star of the Week is Campbell for his fantastic Ancient Greek Timeline.
