We started our day with worship by the waves - taking a few moments to appreciate the beauty of the beach and the sea before getting down to our studies. In maths, we explored turning using clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, discussing the degrees we can turn with and putting our new knowledge to the test with some fun beach-themed activities.

For English, we got our bodies moving with some body percussion and then explored how different rhythms and volumes can represent different emotions. We brainstormed synonyms for a range of feelings before trying to represent those emotions through our percussion. Then, we went on a mind walk, imagining a door and stepping through it into a beautiful woodland area. In groups, we acted out our own versions of a scene from A Midsummer Night's Dream, with King Oberon and Queen Titania.

After lunch, we headed back to the beach to practice our overarm and underarm throwing skills before finishing off with a thrilling game of football. Later on, we were lucky enough to have Miss Anna teach us some Ukrainian, learning all about different foods and drinks.

Finally, we settled down to read some more of our class book, 'Who let the Gods out?'. We're so excited to see where the story takes us next!
