This week in Seal Class has been busy. It was lovely to hear about what the children got up to throughout the Easter break. This half-term Miss Stothard is joining us to finish her placement. It has been great to get back into things with us getting ready for the last term. In English, we started to learn about our new book ‘The Bluest of the Blues’. The children identified the difference between Victorian photographs and modern-day photographs. They also had the opportunity to take some photos on the iPads and compare them to the photos from the Victorian time. The children were also able to edit the photos to make them black and white. We also recapped the Easter story in RE to help them learn about the ascension of Jesus. In French, we have started to learn different food and drinks. In computing, we recapped how we can be safe on the internet and how to communicate with others in a safe environment. In Geography, we learnt about how our earth is constructed. We deconstructed the 4 main different types of layers and we then added 4 key facts to our diagram to share our learning
