Embleton Vincent Edwards C of E Primary School

Welcome to Embleton Vincent Edwards C of E Primary School

Welcome to Embleton Vincent Edwards C of E  Primary School: the 'School by the Beach'.

We hope that you enjoy exploring our website.

As a small, Church of England school we are able to offer true personalised learning for all our children in a welcoming, family environment, where children from 3 to 11 years old, work and play together. Embleton Primary school lies in the heart of Embleton, a picturesque Northumbrian village just minutes from the pristine sands of Embleton Bay. In line with our Christian vision and values, we foster a strong partnership between home and school to support individual learning, helping all of our children to flourish and reach their full potential.

We pride ourselves in using our stunning, coastal environment for a range of activities and lessons, including weekly beach school sessions for the whole school; fostering a love of nature and the natural world.  We are passionate about learning outdoors, and strongly believe in the importance of our children experiencing the wonder and beauty of their surroundings in such a special part of Northumberland.  Please look at the Beach School tab above to see what we have been getting up to.

We are a Green Flag with Distinction Eco-School, and hold a School Games Gold Award.

We have hardworking, committed staff, with a very supportive and dedicated Academy Committee.  Our Parent and Friends Association, Friends of Embleton School, is incredibly proactive, helping us with fundraising events.  All parents and carers are encouraged to take part in organising or attending events.

We are now a proud member of Pele Trust: a multi-academy trust (MAT) based in Northumberland and North Tyneside. We are a family of schools working together to provide the best possible learning experiences for our pupils through partnership and collaboration.

The school has an open door policy, so please do not hesitate to contact us. We welcome visits from prospective parents and carers. If you would like paper copies of any information on the website, please ask at the office.
