I am the Vicar of Embleton and delighted to be an Academy Committee member at our village school. I am keen to develop strong and happy relationships between Church and school and believe that the future of Embleton as a thriving community depends on having our school at its heart. I am proud to continue the legacy of my predecessor, Rev Vincent Edwards believing that Christian values provide a supportive framework for our children as they learn to play their part in making a better world.

I am proud to have 38 years teaching experience in primary schools in both North Tyneside and Northumberland. I was the Headteacher of Ellingham CE Primary for 17 years, before taking on the role of Executive Headteacher at both Ellingham and Embleton Vincent Edwards Primaries in September 2025, following both schools joining Pele Trust. It is a pleasure to be involved in leading small, rural primary schools with strong Christian visions and within such supportive communities.
