27th January 2019
Where are the weeks going?  They really seem to be flying by, at the moment.
We have been very fortunate this week to have some people who are familiar to us come in to talk about different things.  Orca Class had a great discussion, as part of their RE topic, with Rev Alison about how she does God's work, and what her working week consists of.  Starfish Class invited some of the community lunch members to bring in their old toys, and talk to them about how they have changed over time.
Open the Book visited this week to use Bible stories to build on our worship theme of 'forgiveness'.
The staff hosted a phonics, reading and writing workshop for Y1 and Early Years on Wednesday.  Thank you to those that attended.   The slides are here for those that could not make it.
This week we have a Parents' Lunch on Tuesday, and the Year 3s and 4s are going to a skipping workshop with several other schools on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, for NSPCC Number Day we will be holding a 'Festival of Triangles'.  We will spend the day doing various triangular activities, and all parents and carers are more than welcome to join us at 2 pm, to do some activities together.
