8th December 2019
As we move in to Advent, it feels like we are almost in the home straight for the longest term of the school year!

The Years 5 and 6 had an inspirational morning on Tuesday at Arcinova, listening to Ash Dykes talk about perseverance, breaking things down into small goals and succeeding against the odds as he pushed himself to the limits and broke records with endurance challenges.  His tales of his 4000 mile trek along the Yangtze River from source to sea were truly amazing.

It was fab seeing parents, aunts, and grandparents in for Parent Lunch and for the Nursery Stay and Play this week.  We really appreciate your support.

This week the festive activities are starting to ramp up - with play practices most days (including our first practice in the Creighton Hall), our Christmas Lunch and Christmas Jumper day on Thursday and our last trip to the Beach for 2019 on Friday.  Please ensure that those children with lines to learn have done so, and please send in costumes by the end of the week.

The PFA are still looking out for people to take a turn on the bag pack at Morrison's on Sunday - please sign up at the office.  They are also still after raffle and tombola prizes for the Christmas Fair.  Again, please drop them into the office.

Have a good week!
