3 March 19

3rd March 2019
I am glad everyone had a good half-term - we have been hearing all about it from the children in school.  We had had a busy first week back, introducing new topics and stories, and the children seem to all be very enthusiastic about their new learning.  Beach school was lovely and mild - I am very glad that we missed that wild windy weather!

This week the playground equipment installation continues.  Please ensure that your children remain safe before and after school.

On Tuesday the Y5s and Y6s are going to a tag rugby festival in Alnwick.  There are going to be about 12 teams from 8 different schools there, so it will be a great opportunity to mix with others from the Alnwick partnership of schools.

Do not forget that there is no swimming at Willowburn this week - we will be staying at school and doing other things.

There is a parent lunch this Wednesday for those that have signed up with Melissa.

On Thursday it is World Book Day - please bring in your models of book characters in the morning.

On Friday there is a parent worship, followed by a PFA meeting to organise the Easter Fair.  Please stay and offer your services.  If you are unable to come to parent worship, but are able to help at the Fair (Sunday 24 March 10-12), please let Melissa know, together with what job you would like to be given.
