The final week before half term has been super busy yet again.

This week in English we have been finishing off our instructions and have made our own story maps. The children really enjoyed this part.

In maths we have spent lots of time focussing on subtraction, addition and multiplication. The children are super speedy with their times tables. The year 2 children did some great column subtraction with exchanges.

In computing we were learning how to look after the Ozobots and creating the perfect line for them to run on. The Ozobots have been great fun. We had our weekly session with Mr Easton and have become excellent at knowing and talking about the different musical notes.

In RE this week Alexander's Mum came into school to tell us all about the Buddhist religion. We even got to take part in some dancing. It was so much fun.

We also had a couple of promotions in big maths too - well done to FLORENCE and ZACH!!

We also said a fond farewell to Maya and Freya this week - they are off on exciting adventures in a new school.  I wish them every success - I have no doubt that they will be amazing.  I was lucky enough to teach them both for 2 years and I am proud of the young girls they are!  Miss you girls!

Enjoy your half term everyone - we sure deserve it!!
