26th January 2020
Last week was a busy week for staff, who were out at a variety of courses for much of the week.  The children all coped very well with changes in staffing!

Thank you to all those family members who came to Family Lunch and Family Worship this week.

Next week is a bit busier for the children with Puffins having a visit from Laura Millar, our School Safeguarding Liaison Officer, to do some more work on Rights and Relationships.  Laura will be in from 8.30 am on Thursday morning if anyone would like to chat to her in confidence about any issues that you may have regarding domestic violence.

Also on Thursday, selected Orca children will be attending the next Pupil Parliament session at Swansfield Park Primary School.  We look forward to debating whether the age for being able to drive cars should be reduced or not.

Finally on Thursday, at 3 pm, Miss Thompson is holding a Year 6 SATS information session.  It would be really helpful if all Year 6 parents could attend so that Miss Thompson can talk to you about how you can best support your child through SATS.

This week we will be sending out sponsor forms for our NSPCC Number Day Great Fraction Challenge - please look out for them in book bags.  The challenge starts on Wednesday!

Finally I would like to remind all parents that earrings are not to be worn at school.  This is primarily to prevent the risk of accidents.  If you have any issues with this please come and see me.
