25th November 2018
Last week I had the pleasure of going to Craster on the bus with Starfish Class.  Despite the wind and rain, we had a great time.  I would like to thank Thomas' grandad for hosting us at the lifeboat station.  We really enjoying exploring both the boat and the tractor.  We loved going there and back on the bus, and enjoyed looking at the wild sea - with waves crashing over the harbour walls.

Thank you to those parents that came to the parent lunch - it is always lovely to share lunch with you.  Well done to Mandy for the delicious food, as ever.

This week in worship we have been focusing on the Christian value of kindness.  The children enjoyed another Open the Book worship on Wednesday.  On Friday Rev Alison brought in toy Mary, Joseph and donkey to introduce the Posada (Spanish for lodging place).  Mary, Joseph and donkey will be spending the rest of term visiting every child's house before coming back to the Vicarage in time for Christmas.  This weekend they are in Christon Bank - I will update you on their progress!

School photographs were taken this week - please have your orders back in as soon as possible.

You should all have received your Christmas cards, keyrings, mugs etc now - let Melissa know if you are missing anything.

This week is just as busy!  We will be starting learning our Christmas songs (if your child has words to learn, please make sure they have done so by the end of next week!) so listen out for festive tunes!
