Seal Class has settled in very well to our new routines and expectations. The children have all worked hard the last few weeks even if we found some things trickier than others.

In maths, we have covered Roman Numerals, Numbers to 100 and 1000 and 100s, 10s, and 1s.

In English, we have started to unpick our text 'Escape from Pompeii' by looking at using setting description and inferring how the character may be feeling.

This week we have also been learning how to warm our voices up in music, logging onto the Chromebooks and practicing our typing skills in Computing as well as doing Reading Comprehension by looking at a text called the Red Landing which focused on video games.

We took part in the Lindisfarne Gospel Pilgrimage learning all about the journey they are taking and why it is so important to them. We even got to see some artefacts  - the coffin, the Lindisfarne Gospels (a copy), and one of the Gospels. We got to explore, and hear the stories behind it and then we joined them for a walk to Low Newton.
