This week in English, we have been working on our descriptive writing skills. We started the week by writing detailed descriptions of a woodland setting, we used a range of adjectives, similes and alliteration. In maths, we have continued to work on position and direction by working on our full turns outside. We used the vocabulary ‘clockwise’, ‘full turn’, ‘quarter turn’ and ‘half turn’. In PE we split into two groups of balancing the ball on the bat and also relay, we are working hard in order to practise for sports day this year. In computing, we focussed on our words processing skills. We used text boxes, underlining, colour and spacing tools to help us. In PSHE, we started to learn about growing in our world. We had to think about the things that we can do, are learning to do things we can do yet. On Friday afternoon, we went across to the Quarry. We really enjoyed searching for, catching and identifying a range of different insects.

I have had the most amazing time teaching, learning and having fun with the Puffins, they have taught me so much across the last 9 weeks. I will be sad to leave them, but wish the Puffins every success in the future
