This week in Seal Class, we have had a very busy week. On Monday, we looked at our own diets and evaluated them looking at the nutritional benefit different food gave us. We then carried out our science experiment measuring out how much sugar is on different drinks. We found out that most drinks exceed the sugar recommended daily allowance that we are allowed. We also finished looking at learning different body parts in French. We finished by singing head, shoulders, knees and toes in French. In English, we continued looking at our African Tales book in which we researched the different countries that are represented in the book. We looked at Ghana, Ethiopia, Sudan, Senegal, Malawi and Namibia. In maths, we continued to look at addition and subtraction, the year 3s looked at adding 3 digits and 1 digit numbers and the year 4s looked at adding 4 digit numbers. In art, we looked at William Morris’s artwork from the 1800s. We then created our own diamond artwork based on his work. They were all fantastic.
