This week has been a fairly short one. I do hope you all had a lovely long weekend together. We had a very interesting trip visiting Newcastle Central Mosque on Tuesday. It was a great way to start our week. We then had a very busy Wednesday where we continued to look at our book 'The Street Beneath Our Feet'. We looked at creating different sentences focusing on interesting verbs, using rhetorical questions and then prepositions. We also did some note-taking about the different layers under the Earth's Surface. We then looked at interpreting data in tables as part of our Statistics in maths. It was a little bit difficult to start with but we got there. We also looked at Tectonic Plates and how they form the Ring of Fire. The children then labelled a map of the Tectonic Plates. We then completed an exciting science experiment on Friday where we compared the different types of rock (Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic) using different types of chocolate!

We have had a good week again with our Big Maths Results most children again got 10/10 on their CLIC or are very close to getting 10/10. Keep up the good work.
