24th September 2017
This week we have been focusing on our first Christian Value of the year - friendship.  We have been exploring what friendship meant to Jesus, and what it means to us.

Key Stage 2 children have started violin lessons this week.  There were some interesting discussions about how to hold the instrument.... and some very interesting noises being made!

Key Stage 1 children have been using the computers to find out about harvest in the past and present, and looking at the different types of machinery that have been used to gather in the harvest.

The Early Years children are now well settled in to school, and are becoming used to the routines.  It is lovely to see how happy and engaged they are in their learning.

The new school council were elected this week - well done to Barnaby, Ellie, Tabitha, Noah and Arthur.  They led their first worship on Friday and did a great job.

This week also saw the return of the 'Open the Book' team.  The children, as ever, loved the Bible story that was told.

Next week the Toddler Group meets as usual on Monday morning at 9.45; there is the Nursery parents lunch on Tuesday at 12.00; the Community lunch on Thursday at 12.00; and a Parent Worship on Friday at 8.45.
