21st May 2017
Well, we are nearly at half-term!

We had a good week last week, and just about managed to negotiate the challenges of losing electricity twice.  Well done to Mandy in the kitchen for managing to produce her fab school dinners despite the lack of power.

Hopefully everyone is happy with the new shelter outside - it seems it was completed just in time before the rain started!  I am sure that you will agree it is a welcome addition and should help stop people getting too wet whilst waiting to come into school.

Unfortunately the weather put paid to Mrs Popay's planned trip with Class 1 to Jan's garden to see all the plants growing - we are planning to reschedule for this Friday!

Thank you for all the ActiveKids vouchers - if you have any more lurking in pockets or bags please bring them in this week.

Don't forget Playgroup runs on Monday mornings from 9.45-11.15 am.  Leanne has some lovely activities planned, all pre-school age children and their grown ups are more than welcome to attend.

Reception parents lunch is on Tuesday.  Please let Melissa know if you are planning on attending.

The plant sale is next Saturday (27th May).  Please do come along and buy some lovely plants to brighten up your garden this summer.

Congratulations to Abbie for winning the Sports award for this week for great enthusiasm and rhythm in Cheerleading club; and congratulations to Tabitha for winning the Superstar award for great fraction work.  Finally, well done to Alfie for gaining a Mathletics bronze certificate.
