Headteacher's Blog 26 Mar 17

26th March 2017
This week Class 2 have been learning how to conduct fair tests in science, whilst Class 1 have been observing their tadpoles very closely and keeping a diary of how they change.  We all had great fun on Red Nose Day, wearing red, making a huge penny smiley face and having a cake stall.  We raised over £40 on the cake stall which was amazing.  Needless to say, we are still counting how many pennies we have!

Thank you to the Year 4 parents who shared lunch with us on Wednesday.

We have analysed the results of the latest parent questionnaire.  Using the Parentview questions, 100% of parents either agreed or strongly agreed with every question.  All parents said they would recommend our school to others.  Thank you so much for your support - we are really pleased that you are all so strongly positive about the school!

The table-top sale by the PFA was well attended on Saturday.  I know that many people went home with a bargain or two!

Don't forget on Tuesday that the Year 1 and Reception children will be going on an exciting trip to Bamburgh to the castle and the Grace Darling museum.

Next Saturday is the PFA Easter Egg hunt in the school grounds - you are all more than welcome to attend.

Even though the weather appears to be a bit warmer at the moment, can I please remind parents to continue to send their children in with a coat.
