5th March 2017
What a busy first week back after half-term!

On Tuesday Class 1 made pancakes for everyone in school.  Class 1 tried different toppings to see which their favourite was, and Class 2 had to work out how to share the pancakes fairly between the class.

On Wednesday we all attended the Ash Wednesday service in the Church.  The children shared treasure poems and words, experienced being 'ashed' and received a blessing during communion.  Everyone remarked on how well the children did and I was very proud of them.  We also had an opportunity to see the altar cloth that we had made out of felt in situ.  It looks fabulous!

On Thursday we had World Book Day.  Everyone made a great effort (thank you very much!) to dress up as a favourite character, and we all brought books to swap.

This next week is a slightly quieter one, thank goodness!  Please don't forget parent consultations on Tuesday during the day, and Thursday after school.  It is Year 1 and Year 3 parent lunch on Wednesday - don't forget to sign up for a delicious school meal!

Please don't forget Book Club orders are due back in on Friday.
