28th January 2018
It was lovely to see some of the nursery parents at lunch this week - more nursery parent lunches this week!
In Key Stage 2, the children have been busy learning about Vikings this week, and writing some fascinating stories about Valhalla.  In Key Stage 1 and Early Years the children have been learning the Ukrainian folktale 'The Mitten', and using it to support a range of learning.  We had visitors from the Local Authority and Diocese this week and they were delighted with the calm and purposeful atmosphere in school.
It is NSPCC Number Day on Friday.  We will be doing a number of maths activities on the day and are looking forward to welcoming as many parents as possible at 2.30 pm for a times table challenge.  We will have a donations box for any donations to the NSPCC.
There have been a couple of instances recently of people almost being knocked over by scooters or bikes in the playground.  As a result it would be appreciated if all children could not ride their bikes/scooters on the school site.
Please don't forget that we have dance for Key Stages 1 and 2 on Tuesday - PE kit is required.
