22nd April 2018
It was great to see everyone return to school in good form (although several with the ends of chicken pox spots!) on Monday.  We were sad to say goodbye to Esca, whose family are moving away - we wish all of them well in their move south.
It was lovely to welcome Rev Alison in to meet all the children in school during our worship on Thursday.  We look forward to working closely with her over the coming weeks.
The weather was incredibly kind to us for our first Beach School day with Bridie and Helen.  Read all about this week's Beach School here.
This coming week we have got the Year 4 parent lunch on Tuesday.  Please speak to Melissa if you would like to come along.
On Wednesday it is 'Bags to School' day - donate your old (clean) clothes to raise much-needed school funds.  If you do not have a blue bag to put them in do not worry - bin bags are absolutely fine.  Please leave them just by the EY outdoor area on Wednesday morning.
On Thursday Jordan from Newcastle United Foundation will be in to work with the children - don't forget PE kits for Reception to Year 5 children.
On Friday we are back to the beach again.  I am not sure that the weather will be quite so kind to us this week!  We also have Parent Worship this week, being led by Rev Alison - all parents and carers are more than welcome to attend.
