11th March 2018

Well done to all those that put in lots of effort into creating great costumes for World Book Day.   The children enjoyed sharing stories with each other and talking about their favourite books and characters.  It was lovely to share our costumes with Open the Book, who also told us a story, from the Bible, about our current Christian value of forgiveness.

Thank you to all those that attended their child’s parent consultation.  We hope you find them a valuable in supporting your child’s educational development.  It is always lovely for us to be able to share some of the amazing work that your child has been doing.

I would also like to say a big thank you to all those that have bought tea towels.  We are nearly sold out, and have raised about £100 for school funds.  If you would like one of the few remaining, please speak to Melissa.

The Year 5s had a good couple of days doing Bikeability Training.  Well done to Max, Ellie and Abbie, who achieved their Levels 1 and 2; and Barnaby, Josh and Alfie who achieved their Level 1.

Next week is slightly less frenetic.  We continue to have playgroup on Monday morning whilst KS1 and KS2 are at Willowburn; Year 1 parent lunch is on Tuesday; Newcastle United on Thursday afternoon; and Lunch Club on Thursday lunchtime.  If you know of any older members of the community who would like to share lunch with us, please ask them to get in touch with us.

Parent Worship on Friday!
